Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and Transparency International Pakistan have signed an ‘integrity pact’ aimed at ensuring transparency in the auction of 3G licenses.
PTA chairman, Farooq Awan and TIP chairman, Shoail Muzaffar inked the accord on behalf of their respective organizations.
Federal Minister, Hafeez Shaikh said on the occasion that TIP would act as an observer in the process. He furthered that government wants to make the process transparent to ensure maximum revenue, employment opportunities and bolster economy of the country.
