Islamabad: Justice (R) Rehmat Hussain Jaffery has been appointed as a member of the judicial commission on the judges’ appointment.
According to a statement issued by the judicial commission secretariat here on Friday, Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has appointed Jaffery for year after consultation with four senior judges.
Jaffery will replace Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed in the commission.
Moreover, the statement said that Kamran Murtaza had been appointed a member of the commission for the Balochistan High Court (BHC). Murtaza was recommended by the Balochistan Bar Council.
