Karachi: Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (POA) awarded “LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” to world renowned senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon Syed Mohammad Ali Shah during their annual conference in local hotel.
President POA Prof. Aneesuddin Bhatti presented the Award to Dr. Shah. The president in his speech paid huge tribute to Dr. Shah and said whole nation was proud on his historic achievements in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery.
Speaking on this occasion Dr. Shah said it was great honour for him that POA recognised his services in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery for which he was thankful to them. He said he was proud to be a Pakistani on getting “Pride of Performance Award” and “Hilal e Imtiaz” for surgery from Government of Pakistan on making World Record of 43000 surgeries in Orthopaedic by beating previous World Record of Mr.Robert Owens of 28000 operations.
Meanwhile Dr.Imran Ali Shah, Dr.S.A.Siddiqui, Dr.Azmat Hussain, Dr.Fasi ullah Mir, Dr.Sami Ahmed, Dr.Munawar Ali Anjum, Nusrat Faheem expressed their heartiest congratulations to President Private Hospitals & Clinics Association Dr. Shah on having received the award.
