Islamabad: Pakistanis are divided about whether the Kashmir issue can be solved in their lifetime; according to a recent survey 47 percent think it can and 46 percent think it cannot.
In the survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Do you think the Kashmir issue can be solved in your lifetime?”
Responding to this, 47 percent said yes and 46 percent said no. However, 7 percent did not give a view.
The survey was carried out among a sample of 2677 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during November 18, 2012 – November 25, 2012.
