Quetta: Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan strike reaches its Day 55 in provincial capital on Monday as patients and emergency cases look helpless in hospitals.
Sources said that patients and their attendants were in miserable condition as Outer Patients’ Department (OPD) and emergency wards were closed due to strike since October 17.
Secretary Health Balochistan Ismatullah Kakar said that doctors should end strike first then we would cooperate with them in every possible manner.
Doctors should rejoin their duties as government is willing to show flexibility, said Kakar.
Meanwhile PMA Balochistan president Dr. Sultan Tareen said that PMA would continue the strike until the government ensure safety for doctors and fulfill their demands.
