Melbourne: Pakistan Hockey Federation Secretary Asif Bajwa pointing out the reasons behind Pakistan’s crushing 5-2 defeat against Netherlands in semi final said that lack of coordination and missed chances drowned Pakistan’s hopes for grand final.
Talking to media in Melbourne, Bajwa said that Pakistan lacked team coordination today and missed open chances which resulted in the defeat. “Netherlands dominated the match right from the beginning.”
Pakistani forward Haseem Khan admitted the mistakes the team committed in crucial semi final match against the orange shirts but hoped to win the bronze medal for country.
Pakistan will play the losing team of second semi final on Sunday for the third spot.
