Karachi: Three petitions have been filed against Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik in Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding his ministry, honorary degree and dual nationality, here on Friday.
The petitions filed by social worker Mahmood Akhter Naqvi in SC Karachi registry pleaded the apex court that how could a person declared as no more a sagacious, righteous, non-profligate and honest man by SC could hold a high profile government job.
In another appeal, the social worker said that a person declared as no more a sagacious, righteous has no right to possess an honorary degree.
In his third application, Naqvi pleaded that SC should scrutinize Malik’s documents claiming that he had put down his dual nationality.
