Islamabad: A constitutional petition was filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan to nationalise all the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling stations across the country on Tuesday.
Engineer Jameel, the petitioner from the Communist Party of Pakistan, in his plea said that the solution of common men’s problem was in socialism not in democracy.
He said that the government and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had been failed to stop the CNG stations’ owners from unannounced strike.
The petitioner pleaded the court to issue order to nationalise over 4,125 CNG station across the country.
