Khulna: Bangladesh registered another victory against West Indies on Sunday beating the visitors by 162 runs in second One Day International (ODI) at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
West Indies won the toss and put Bangladesh into bat first. Anamul Haque became the third Bangladesh teenager to score a one-day century as his 120 lifted Bangladesh to a strong 292 in the match.
An exciting partnership of 174 between Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim gave a boost to their team as Bangladesh lost two quick wickets earlier today.
Haque’s 120 and Mushfiqur 79 helped the tigers to set 293 runs target for the loss of 6 wickets. Ravi Rampaul sent five Bangladeshi players to pavilion for 49.
Replying to this, West Indies seemed troubled since the beginning of the innings and were all out for just 132 in 31.1 overs. Sohag Ghazi and Abdur Razzak took three wickets each.
