Wana: The Mehsud tribes in the Wana area of Waziristan have been told to leave the area until December 5.
The deadline has been given by the Ahmed Zai Wazie tribes, which includes the same warning to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the tribes. It said that ‘action will be taken’ if the said tribes do not leave the area till the given date.
The notice seems a response to the two-day earlier incident of suicide attack on Mullah Nazir’s convoy in Wana Bazaar, killing six people and seriously injuring the Taliban commander.
