Qasur: The father of Pakistan’s nuclear programme and the founder of Tehrik-i-Tahaffuz Pakistan, Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan has said that he will contest upcoming elections from Qasur district of Punjab province on the National Assembly’s seat.
The News Tribe had reported in June that Dr. Khan would soon announce joining politics and later on July 18, the scientist announced making a new party named “Tehrik-i-Tahaffuz Pakistan”.
Now, Dr Khan has announced that he will contest the upcoming general election on NA-139 Qasur, a report said on Wednesday.
