Lahore: Forensic test of samples taken from stomach of deceased people from Tyno cough syrup will be conducted today.
Lab incharge said that the report would be submitted to Punjab government by November 30 after testing samples today to find the cause of death.
Earlier 18 people died and 10 were admitted to Meo hospital in critical condition after drinking the syrup in the provincial capital. Medical Superidant (MS) of the hospital Doctor Zahid Pervaiz said that patients were out of danger.
Judicial activism panel submitted a petition in Lahore high court (LHC) demanding judicial inquiry of deaths by the syrup and more appointments of drug officers in the city.
