At least eight people were killed and 10 others injured after a speedy, overcrowded van overturned near Jhangara, 140 km from Hyderabad on Friday night.
According to rescue sources, a group of mourners was coming back to their homes from Sehwan after attending a Muharram Majlis.
At Jhangara town the van was over turned due to over speeding. As a result eight persons expired on the spot while 10 others sustained injures.
The rescue ambulances rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to the Taluka Hospital in Sehwan.
