Peshawar: As many as 14 passengers suffered death while 21 sustained fatal wounds in a bus-trailer collision on late Friday night.
According to rescue sources, predawn tragedy incident occurred in Ispina area of Bannu when a speeding 18-wheeler crashed into into a passenger bus coming from the opposite side on Indus Highway.
The roadside accident left 21 passengers injured who were shifted to DGQ hospital Karak in critical condition. Four of those been transferred to Peshawar citing much serious condition.
“At least 14 people have been killed, whereas 21 are reported to have been injured”, local police officials said.
The police cordoned off the area half an hour after the mishap took place. The rescue services have been initiated.
