Karachi: Trade at the Karachi Stock Exchange has touched new historical height despite unrest amid unabated targeted killings in the port city.
The KSE benchmark 100 index closed at 16,275 points after an increase of five points. The index also saw great boost on Tuesday touching the height of 16,251.79 on profit taking.
Moreover, market capitalization had also rose to a record high of Rs4,062 yesterday. According to sources, dealers said that higher volume was recorded in the cement sector on Tuesday.
