Jhang: At least four people died and as many as 12 sustained severe injuries in a traffic accident in Jhang, district in Pakistan’s eastern province of Punjab.
According to rescue sources, the accident occurred on Monday morning when a passenger wagon collides with a tractor trawler leaving people dead and injured. “The victims died on the spot before they could rush to the nearby hospital.”
The police officials say the passenger bus was heading towards Balochistan’s city of Zhob from Raiwind Tablighi ijtima when it collided with a tractor at Jhang-Faisalabad bypass.
The dead bodies were identified as Mehru, Safar Ali, Khudadad and Sheru Khan. The injured persons have been shifted to district headquarter hospital.
