Karachi: Since its headquarter targeted by a suicide attacker leaving 3 dead and 21 severely wounded, Rangers have arrested several suspects.
According to the sources, on the basis of evidence from the blast site, rangers have arrested a number of people who are reportedly accomplices of the suicide attacker.
A powerful bomb exploded near Sachal Rangers Headquarters located in North Nazimabad Block B area of the metropolis, killing at least two Rangers personnel and injuring 24 others, on Thursday.
Investigation and intelligence departments took pictures from the blast site. FIA and police forensic department also took evidences from that place.
The blast site is completely sealed off while the debris and the charred remains are being removed from the site to clear the road near Matric Board Office in Karachi, the industrial hub of Pakistans.
Earlier, Pakistani Taliban Thursday claimed the responsibility of a high-intensity suicide attack targeting the Rangers.
According to Tehreek-i-Taliban (TTP) Spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan, the militant outfit had carried out the attack and they had more targets on their list.
“Those who will raise voices against Taliban, we will target them.”
