Peshawar: Pakistani Taliban Thursday claimed the responsibility of a high-intensity suicide attack targeting the Rangers Sachal Headquarters in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area early Thursday.
A powerful bomb exploded near Sachal Rangers Headquarters located in North Nazimabad Block B area of the metropolis, killing at least two Rangers personnel and injuring 24 others.
According to correspondent the incident took place when an explosives-laden van hit the gate No.03 of the Rangers headquarters. As a result, two Rangers men were killed while 24 others including 21 Rangers personnel and 3 policemen.
According to Tehreek-i-Taliban (TTP) Spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan, the militant outfit had carried out the attack and they had more targets on their list.
“Those who will raise voices against Taliban, we will target them.”
He said that the Pakistani Taliban have their network in the country and would operate from wherever they wanted from.
