Geneva: United Nations (UN) Security Council has slapped sanctions on the Pakistan-based terror outfit Haqqani Network, here on Monday.
According to media reports, the Haqqani Network, which is blamed for deadly attacks on US and Nato forces in Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan, was added to list of Taliban.
According to the UN decision, the members of world body would be obliged to act upon the decision, thus freezing the assets of the banned organization.
