Islamabad: Irfan Qadir, the attorney general of Pakistan, has said that he has not been asked to write letter to Swiss officials in corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
Talking to media here on Monday, the AG said that he could have been asked for suggestion, however, the judiciary could not direct him to write the letter. “I have always opposed to write Swiss letter,” he added.
He said that he would write the letter according to the constitution and law if needed. He added that he was neither in favour of the government nor the judiciary.
