Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Wednesday granted approval to the Code of Conduct for elections.
According to the main highlights of the ECP’s Code of Conduct, there will be a complete ban on exhibition of weapons throughout the polling day while the electoral candidates will be strictly bound not to issue any personal remarks.
Secretary Election Commission, Ishtiaq Ahmed said any candidate who violated the Code of Conduct would be disqualified.
He said copies of the Code of Conduct would be dispatched to the political parties for a review.
