Clayton, New Jersey: Police charged two teenage boys, aged 17 and 15, with murdering Autumn Pasquale, whose body was found stuffed into a home recycling bin outside of a house on East Clayton Avenue.
The boys have been identified by multiple sources as Dante and Justin Robinson.
Police charged the duo with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, disposing of a body, tampering with evidence and theft, NJ.com reported.
The boys’ mother played a part in cracking the case involving Autumn Pasquale, Gloucester County prosecutor Sean Dalton said.
She came forward with information about a posting on a son’s Facebook account, leading police to the boys, Mr Dalton said.
The girl appeared to have been strangled, he said. She had been riding her bicycle before she disappeared and was lured to the boys’ house, where belongings including the bike were found, Mr Dalton said.
“The search for Autumn is over,” Mr Dalton said Tuesday.
Mr Dalton added that there was no evidence of sexual assault.
Pasquale’s death has been ruled a homicide.
