Islamabad: Casting doubt on government intention in tabling a resolution in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that government called for a military offensive in North Waziristan through a resolution.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, the PML-N stalwart said that operation inĀ North Waziistan would destabilise Pakistan . “Smell of a conspiracy is emanating from what is happening in the country now,” he added.
The opposition leader said that the world was saddened over the shooting of Malala Yousufzai, adding that it was being told that the attackers came from Afghanistan.
” An operation inĀ North Waziristan is being mulled over on the pretext of an attack on Malala Yousuza,” he said. He added that attack on an innocent girl was being diverted to certain dimension.
Chauhdry Nisar said that parliamentary resolutions on drone attacks and Abbotabad operation were not implemented.
He alleged that the government wanted to create a situation to delay election. The opposition leader vowed to resist Accountability Bill and said that the bill was aimed at protecting thieves.
The PML-N leader said that his party would repeal the accountability law if the government succeeded in passing it from the parliament.
Answering a question, he repeated the popular stance adopted by PTI chief Imran Khan and said there were different groups of militants operating in Pakistan with the name of Taliban. He said that real Taliban were in Afghanistan.
“There are Taliban groups in Pakistan who have contacts with IndiaĀ while real Taliban don’t likeĀ India,” he said.
