Islamabad: Afghan President Hamid Karzai shares Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan concerns over drone attacks and war against militants.
He said this in a letter to cricket star turned politician, said a statement issued by the PTI on Saturday.
“I understand Imran Khan’s thought about drone attacks but we should think what we are doing to stop extremism and terrorism,” Karzai asked.
Karzai said that the world was enraged over the incident of shooting of Malala Yousufzai.
The Afghan president said” It is our responsibility to stop terrorism and extremism, we share Imran Khan’s concerns over warfare in the region but we should make concerted efforts for regional peace”
The PTI said Mr Khan is expected to respond the letter after his return from Turkey.
