Karachi: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that courts issue all their verdicts within the framework of the constitution.
Speaking to a delegation of the Karachi Bar Association on Saturday, the CJ said that democracy and the parliament were eliminated when decision were not made under the constitution.
The CJ recalled the sacrifices of lawyers fraternity and said that the community was badly affected on April,9 and May 12 incidents Karachi.
He said Karachi bar played a significant role after apex court’s suo motu notice on Karachi unrest. The chief justice said that the Balochistan issue could not be discussed as it was sub judice.
The CJ said that petitions on Balochistan issue came from bars that was astonishing but rather pleasant.
