Peshawar: Remaining stick to his announcement of bounty on the anti-Islam filmmaker, Railways Minister and Awami National Party senior leader, Ghulam Ahmed Bilour has said that he would once again issue a bounty of 0.1 million dollar if any other man committed blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Speaking at a ceremony held at Mahabat Khan mosque, the minister said that his party had not served him show-cause notice and hoped that it would not ask him to withdraw the bounty.
“Announcing bounty was voice of conscience and I hope my party will not ask me to withdraw,” Bilour told media.
Answering a query regarding Taliban giving him amnesty for announcing bounty, the minister said that he gave no importance to TTP’s statement of removing his name from their hit list.
