Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday directed MQM Rabita Committee to withdraw the 72-hour ultimatum given to the PPP-led government.
On Monday, MQM gave Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) a three-day ultimatum to fulfill their ‘valid’ demands or else the party’s lawmakers will sit on opposition benches
The development came after President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Altaf Hussain on Wednesday and assured him to resolve all the matters.
The president said that he feel regret over the non-implementation of the issues. Altaf Hussain applauded the daring speech by the president at UN General Assembly.
