Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday gave three-day ultimatum to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to fulfill the demands otherwise the party would sit in the opposition benches.
In a handout issued on Monday, the MQM Rabita Committee said that the decision, made in a joint meeting of Rabita committee in London and Karachi, has been sent to MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for the approval.
“It is now very difficult to stand with PPP as they fail to fulfill the rational demands of MQM,” the handout said.
The Committee further said that the policy of tolerance and patience should not be deemed as the weakness of MQM adding that the party would continue to perform its positive role while sitting on opposition benches.
The Rabita committee further directed the people to wait for the final decision and be ready to give sacrifices as they did in early periods.
