Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hold a review meeting on Monday (today) over dual nationality of parliamentarians including that of Interior Minister Rehman Mallik, in order to comply with the orders of Supreme Court.
On Thursday, the Court had issued orders in connection with unseating 11 members of provincial and national assemblies holding dual nationality and also taking further action against them.
Implementing the SC orders the ECP immediately scrap the membership of the 11 parliamentarians. However, the ECP will be holding its meeting Monday to determine as to how the SC orders are to be implemented.
