Lahore: Chaudhry Ahmed Saeed, a brother of Pakistan People’s Party leader and Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar, has joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, said a statement issued here on Monday.
According to the statement, Saeed met PML-N President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Shairf and decided to join his party.
 During the meeting continued for an hour, Saeed discussed political situation in the country with Mr Shairf.
Private television channels said that Saeed would run for a National Assembly seat against his brother in Gujrat.
The PML-N has been strengthening its position in Gujrat where at least three electable joined the part during the last couple of days.
