Colombo: The World Twenty20 Champion England was ruined by the outstanding Indian spin attack in the 10th match of the T20 World Cup 2012 played at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The 2010 champions were defeated by a huge margin of 90 runs while chasing a reasonable target of 171 runs.
Except Craig Kieswetter 35, Dernbach 12 and Buttler 11, the other batsmen failed to enter into the double figures.
Harbhajan Singh, who took four wickets, was the pick of the bowler for India, followed by Chawla and Pathan who shared two wickets while Dinda took one.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma’s 55 runs accompanied by Gambhir 45 and Kohli 40 helped India to set a target of 171 runs.
