Karachi: Three passengers were killed and more than 100 injured after a train struck another in the small hours of Monday near Bin Qasim Railway Station.
According to DS Railway, Shalimar Express hit Millat Express, which was standing on the railway track at Ghagar Phatak, around 50 kilometres from Karachi.
Two bogies of Millat Express derailed while the engine of Shalimar Express was damaged as a result.
Railway traffic has been suspended after the incident, with Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed declaring emergency in hospitals.
