Khairpur: Pakistan Muslim Legaue-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Marvi Memon has said that thousands of people have been homeless due the flood which swept away their all assets in Sindh but the government has done nothing for the people of the province.
The victims are being died due to different diseases and shortage of food, Marvi said while talking to private news television Geo News while visiting the flood and rain hit areas.
Marvi said that the PML-N would soon start the relief operation in the province.
Answering to a query about new local bodies system, she said that two different systems could not be run in province simultaneously. She added that their party would make alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) to defeat ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Sindh.
