Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Friday invited Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh to Pakistan.
During a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna in Islamabad, the PM said that positive thinking was required to solve issues.
“Terrorism is a curse not only for both the neighbouring countries, but also for the whole humanity.”
PM Ashraf also stressed on the resolution of the issues like, Kashmir, Sir Creek, Siachen and others and said that their resolution was vital for the prosperity of the region.
“Settlement of all the disputes exacted a sincere will as well a positive outlook.”
Lauding PM Asraf’s views, SM Krishna said a ministerial meeting after a interval of six year would go a long way in bringing both the counties closer.
“India wants to see a flourishing as well as peaceful Pakistan and there are no two opinions about it”, said he.
Both the Indian and Pakistani prime ministers belong to the same region, said Krishna, adding PM Singh would be delighted to visit his birthplace in an area which is now in Pakistan.
Manmohan Singh was born in Gah, a village which located in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
