Aden: At least four suspected militants have been killed after a US drone strike targeted them in a car in the al-Qatn district of the vast Hadramout province in eastern Yemen, a security official said.
The drone fired three missiles, one hitting the car, witnesses said.
The US has stepped up attacks by unmanned drones this year.
Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is based in Yemen and has mounted operations in neighbouring Saudi Arabia and against the United States.
