The video shows Wim (Netherlands) Hof swimming under ice in a lake near the Finnish village of Kolari. He swam 57.5 meters (188 ft 6 in) under the ice. The specialty of this stunt is that he did not use any special equipment and only used swimming trunks and a pair of goggles.
Current record holder for farthest swim under ice is Stig Avall Severinsen (Denmark), who swam 72 meters (236 ft 22 in) under ice.
