Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the mobile service will be resumed in parts of Pakistan at 10 am on Monday (today).
The government of Pakistan Sunday suspended mobile services across Pakistan, in order to subvert the terror threat received by Interior Ministry on the occasion of Muslim festival, Eid-ul-Fitr.
On the visit of Jinnah Super Avenue in Islamabad, Malik told media representatives that the service had been suspended in order to thwart the blasts by IED devices.
“Militants have changed their tactics, they are now using IED devices, triggered by mobile phones, instead of suicide bombings,” he said.
The citizens would have to suffer in order to save the lives of innocent people, he said.
Responding to question regarding progress in Kamra investigation, Malik said that almost 80% of the case has been solved adding that Punjab police helped in the investigation.
He further said that if Taliban carried out the attack then Hakeem Ullah Mehsud, Taliban leader, should came forward and claim the responsibility.
