Multan: Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s niece, Shafaq Gilani, on Tuesday filed a plea in Lahore High Court (Multan bench) accusing her relatives for giving threats after she married without her parent’s consent.
According to Waqt News report, the daughter of MPA Ahmed Mujtaba Gilani married to Rana Shahzad Iqbal, a resident of Sikandarabad, Multan.
The girl accepted in front of the court that she was in love with Iqbal and her relatives and police were pressurising to take divorce from Iqbal.
The court ordered police to avoid harassing the MPA daughter and provide security to the couple.
