Islamabad: A seven-year-old, Doha born Pakistani girl has become the youngest student to attend Allama Iqbal open university, Islamabad after admitting to an Arabic speaking course in the current session, her father says.
Asiya Arif, has also got the honour of being the youngest Pakistani poetess in the Arabic language said that she would endeavor to produce good results in this course as well.
A grade 3 student at Air Foundation school system, Rawalpindi, became famous in the age of 3, when Qatar TV aired a report on her proficiency and fluency in speaking Arabic language in 2008.
Hoping high for a future in Arabic literature, the young girl has been honoured by Qatari ambassador to Pakistan, Sayar bin Abdul Rahman al-Mawdah, and the wife of Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, Aljouhrah Abdullah A. Alarifi, for her literary endeavors.
The proud father Arif Siddiq, who has been worked in the fields of education, translation and journalism in Qatar for about 13 years expressed that anumber of national and international newspapers, magazines and channels have published and aired detailed reports on Asiya’s God Gifted capabilities in recent years.
