Islamabad: Pakistan on Thursday expressed its concern over the killing of Muslims in Burma and hoped that the ruling Junta would soon control the situation.
In a weekly media briefing Foreign Office Spokesman Muazzam Khan, said; “Pakistan hopes that government of Burma would take effective measures to overcome deteriorating law and order situation”.
Replying others questions, he said that a new MOY with regard to Nato supply routes has been prepared and would soon be signed.
To another question, he said The Sun newspaper had nothing to do with bilateral relations o Pakistan-United Kingdom. “The issue (Olympic visa news published by The Sun) is related to ministries of interior, information and law,” he added.
To a question regarding cross border attacks from Afghanistan, the spokesman said the issue had been raised with the allied forces and the Taliban as well.
