Karachi: Adviser on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik has said that Balochhistan Liberation Army is involved in terrorism in Karachi and other parts of country and it has held people in Lyari hostage.
Speaking to media during his visit to Cost Guards Headquarters on Monday, he said “People came from Afghanistan and carry out terror activities here; enemy is attacking us from every side, especially in Balochistan”.
Malik said that he has evidence to prove his assertions and requested the Supreme Court of Pakistan to summon him so he could present the evidences.
He said the BLA killed its own people if they refused to work against Pakistan. He said dollars are also poured in for appointments in the BLA. Malik said that more attacks were likely against law enforcement agencies.
Malik said that 95 target killers were arrested in Karachi of which 35 belonged to Lyari. He said two helicopters were being provided to police to expedite action against extortionists.
Rehman Malik said: It is my question for those sitting in assembly as why they don’t raise voice for Jawans while they always raised voiced against traitors. He said 69 FC men and 7 Coast Guard officials have been killed during the last 3 months.
Replying a query regarding Rana Sanaullah, he said the Punjab law minister abused Sharif brothers when he was in PPP and now slandering the PPP as he had joined the PML-N. He claimed that Rana Sanaullah would join the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI)
