Lahore: A petition seeking ban on Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) has been filed in Supreme Court of Pakistan’s Lahore Registry.
Sarfraz Hussain Advocate, the petitioner, bears the stance that the YDA went on strike despite clear orders of the apex court and refused to provide treatment to the patients.
He pleaded the court to ban the YDA and rule their jobs as necessary service. He also requested the court to direct the Punjab government to register case against the young doctors for the death of patients during their strike.
