Quetta: The Supreme Court on Friday ordered Inspector General Frontier Corps Major Gen Ubaidullah Khan Khattak to present all the missing persons of Balochistan within 10 days.
A orders came as a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed hearing into petitions pertaining to law and order and human rights violations in Balochistan.
SC had summoned the FC IG for today’s hearing. The IG told the court that Pakistan was facing serious threats to its existence in Balochistan.
The CJ remarked that the court was not to report an individual instead to it had protect the Constitution.
He remarked that 8 to 10 bodies were being found in the province on daily basis. He also inquired why the FC didn’t use helicopter during its operations.
The IG said that the defence ministry was requested to provide helicopters.
