New Delhi: A Pakistani soldier who mistakenly crossed the Line of Control (Loc) on Thursday and entered into the Indian territory, was repatriated to the Pakistan Army at Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
“Pak soldier identified as Arif Ali, 19, resident of Quetta was apprehended by the Army yesterday when he crossed over to this side from Kerni Sector,” Indian media reported.
They said that Arif was posted in 25 Frontier Force in Pakistan and he was in civil dress adding, he was unarmed while two SIM cards, identity card and currency worth Rs. 13,306 was recovered from him. After investigations it was found that he inadvertently crossed the fence.
