Kiev: World Champion Spain has once again proved that they are the worlds no 1 team as they successfully defended the Euro Cup title after thrashing Italy by 4-0 in final of the Euro 2012 played at Kiev Olympic Stadium, Kiev, Ukraine.
The Spanish team overall dominated the game and gave not much chances to the Italians to score. The winning team possessed the ball for almost 54 percent with their rivals 46 percent.
The Spanish players make good moves towards the Italian’s goal post and finally succeeded in scoring four goals. David Silva (14), Jordi Alba (41), Fernando Torres (83) and Juan Mata (88) helped their team to thrash the Italians.

It is the third time in the history of Euro Cup that the Spainsh team was able to win the title.
The Spanish fans were full of delight after their win while the Italians’ were disappointed after their team was totally thrashed by their rivals.
