Sibi: At least seven people, including a police official and a child, were killed and 30 others injured after a huge explosion at the Sibi Railway Station, Sibi, a district of Pakistan’s province Balochistan, police and rescue officials said.
SHO Sibi Balakh Sher said that the remote control bomb was placed at platform 2 of the station near a tea stall.
The dead and injured were being shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Sibi. Deputy Commissioner Shahid Saleem Qureshi has declared an emergency in the hospital.
Sources said that the miscreants targeted Jaffar Express, traveling from Jaffarabad to Rawalpindi.
No no has yet claimed the responsibility of the attack but the attacks bore the hall mark of Baloch miscreants.
