Karachi: Pakistan’s all-round cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi, after his worst performance against Sri Lanka, has given indication regarding his retirement from one-day international cricket on Tuesday.
Talking to media at Karachi airport, Shahid Afridi said that he would soon decide regarding the future of his ODI cricket with the consultation of his elders.
“New players should be given chance in the 2015 World Cup,” he said.
Responding to a question regarding the defeat of ODI series against Sri Lanka, Afridi said that bowling and fielding of Pakistani team was quite disappointing during the series.
The former captain refused to give any comment regarding the captaincy of Misbah-ul-Haq.
