Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) former leader Fauzia Wahab has been laid to rest in Gizri Grraveyard.
Earlier, her funeral prayer was offered at mosque in Defence area of the city. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Adviser to prime minister on interior affairs Rehman Malik, federal ministers, leaders of the PPP, MQM and locals attended the funeral.
She died on Sunday in a local hospital during a surgery due to what some PPP leaders said negligence of doctors.
Malik has ordered an inquiry while record of the hospital has been seized.
