Lahore: At least nine dacoits were killed in two different alleged police encounters in Pakistan’s Punjab province on Monday.
Four accused involved in different incidents of dacoities and kidnapping were killed in alleged encounter with CIA police in Islampura area of Lahore city. Surprisingly no policemen received any injury in the encounter.
The police said that they raided a house on a tipoff in Sanda, killing four dacoits named Raju, Altaf, Sadiq and Atique during exchange of fire.
In another incident, Sadiqabad police claimed to have killed five dacoits in alleged police encounter.
