San Francisco, California: Tens of thousands of people are expected to throng San Francisco’s waterfront as the city celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge on Sunday.
People will be enjoying a number of events taking place along a section of waterfront stretching from Fort Point south of the bridge to Pier 39 along The Embarcadero, Huffington Post reported, adding there will also be fireworks at night.
Officials are urging visitor to come through public transport due to the scarcity of parking space near the bridge. Traffic remains shut across the bridge from 9 pm to 10 pm.
